Family Weekend
Family Weekend | November 8th – 10th, 2019
Family Weekend is a team tradition held each year to thank you all for your vital support throughout the season and to include you in our UNC Women’s Rugby family. It is an opportunity for you to see your rugby player in action and to meet the rest of the players and our amazing coaches. Please RSVP below and consider donating and ordering merch that we will hand out at the event.
On Friday, November 8th, we are hosting a meet-and-greet bonfire will be held at Boom, our rugby house at 203B Laurel Ave. in Carrboro. Stop in at any time from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. to make s’mores and socialize.
On Saturday, November 9th, come and cheer on the team as we take on Raleigh Venom and Elon University at Hooker fields. Kickoff will be at 11 a.m., followed by a 1 p.m. kickoff against Elon. After the match, please join us at 3:30 p.m. at Tobacco Road Sports Cafe at 1118 Environ Way in Chapel Hill. Players, families, and coaches will enjoy catered lunch while we introduce you to our program. A cash bar will also be available.
On Sunday, November 10th, there will be a benefit brunch at Tru Deli, 114 Henderson St in Chapel Hill from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
