Post Game Interviews

Head Coach, Johnathan Atkeison: “For us, the fall games are all about learning. That’s true for both the players, I think they’re showing that they’ve learned a lot about the game in the last few months and for our returning players, I think they’re starting to understand how their roles and our team has shifted as they become upperclassmen. Same is true for the coaches, the fall is for us it’s all about learning what kind of team we’re going to have for the year. At the beginningĀ of the season, the picture is really fuzzy, and it’s hard to know what our strengths and weaknesses are going to be, but each game that picture is a little clearer. I think after today, we have a pretty good idea what that picture looks like, and now it’s just up to us to figure out how to get us from where we are now to where we can be.”

Katie Kania, Freshman, scored two tries on Saturday: “I aspire to be like Mel on and off the field, I scored because I wanted to make her proud.”
